Job description

Monitor your team's performance throughout the shift, making tactical choices to optimise service levels without overspending our budget. Onboarding, training and continuous development of a team of Warehouse Operatives across a distribution centre

  • Strong record of process compliance
  • Demonstrable ability to comprehend change management and be able to identify changes and focus areas for your team.
  • Willing to accept responsibility for long term, sustained performance improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst managing multiple timed targets simultaneously
  • Strong ability to drive operation compliance to process
  • Ability to make critical decisions within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong IT skills, Knowledge and understanding of SAP /NAV/ WMS is advantageous
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, for internal customers (e.g. factory) and external customers (e.g. retailers) and communicate these values to your team.

The Successful Candidate

The Night Shift Manager with have experience in a FMCG Warehouse environment managing 5 and more staff, you will need-

  • Proven experience of working under pressure to achieve set targets and meet deadlines
  • Experience of using MS Office and Outlook email, WMS (would be advantageous but not essential)
  • Proven management experience of staff
  • Experience of maintaining Health and Safety standards in the workplace
  • Demonstratable success of developing and managing high performance teams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • An entrepreneur who constantly seeks to improve existing processes
  • Self-motivated and resilient
  • Upbeat and energised
  • Flexible to support colleagues and other departments across a 24/5 operation
  • MHE licence - Counterbalance licence
  • Driving Licence

In return

£30k - £33k annual salary (dependant on experience) plus benefits package.
